Seatrax Rental Crane Wows Attendees of Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Expo 2009

October 29, 2009--After the rain cleared and the clouds parted, it was clear that one vendor stole the show at the 2009 Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition: Seatrax, Inc.

Leading offshore marine crane manufacturer Seatrax wowed LAGCOE attendees erecting its newest rental crane model in the outdoor area of one of the largest expositions in the oil and gas industry.

With the Cajundome as its backdrop, the Seatrax rental crane Model S140P towered over nearby exhibits, drawing a crowd of numerous curious eyes wanting to catch a glimpse of the massive structure.

"Our crane was easily visible from miles away," Seatrax Service Manager Fred Klein said. "We wanted to capture people's attention with this exhibit, and we definitely achieved that goal." ...more.

Seatrax crane management system, the CCM7000

No. 1 rule of crane management: Use Seatrax's CCM7000

2009-Seatrax, Inc., with a global reputation of excellence and innovation, has developed a crane management system to diagnose and solve typical operation, maintenance and repair issues many offshore facility managers face on a frequent basis.

Using a touch screen interface, the Seatrax CCM7000 is an operator’s single source to access necessary crane operating information (including load charts, pressure readings and wind speed and direction indicators) combined with a load moment indicator that calculates the allowable capacity of the crane at any given position. The CCM7000 also provides warning and alerts, both audible and visual, for example, if a load drifts downward if it is not signaled to do so.
