Field Service Technician
All U.S. Branches

Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate or replace faulty hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment in an offshore environment
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly inspections of offshore equipment
  • Participate in training programs

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum three years experience in maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical equipment

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of diagnostic and testing tools used in the trade
  • Knowledge of original equipment manufacturers' technical manuals and specifications and the ability to read and interpret electrical and instrument circuitry
  • Capable of understanding and interpreting equipment performance and instrument data and drawings
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Able to receive and give direction
  • Must be willing to transport by boat or helicopter to offshore facilities

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.

Production Engineering Assistant
Houston, Texas

Seatrax is currently looking for a Production Engineering Assistant to assist our production and fabrication departments. In this position, the individual will act as a liaison between multiple departments, including parts/service, purchasing, engineering, warehouse and fabrication.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Liaison between multiple departments
  • Follow up, assess and monitor production jobs
  • Documentation development
  • Data entry

Education and Experience

  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication/engineering drawings
  • Computer proficiency in programs, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and AutoCad
  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software preferred but not required
  • Office administration and procedural knowledge
  • 1-3 years engineering or fabrication experience
  • Technical/documentation writing background preferred but not required
